The Collected Works by John Scott Campbell [The Lost Master 05](ed. Gorgon776)
Requirements: ePUB reader, 1.3Mb
Overview: "…Welcome to Volume 5 of the Lost Masters series. This volume will likely be the shortest ever released; it contains only 7 works.
I chose John Scott Campbell as a candidate for a Lost Master release because of a chance similarity in names with another well known figure in the SF world, John Wood Campbell. Both John Scott Campbell, and John W. Campbell published their first story in the same year, 1930, but their styles and stories could not be more different. Campbell (this Campbell) wrote pure, unabashed pulp fiction.
Here you will find the story of a robot brain who tries to exterminate humanity, the story of insects threatening humanity, the story of a giant man who topples communism…
There is none of John W. Campbell’s thoughtful examination of alien mentalities here; it’s pure pulp adventure.
The seven stories you have here are all of the SF I could find by this writer, and may be all he ever published. I have been unable to find any information about any other stories by this man…"
