Overview: Owen Elgie has been drawn to story telling within the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres for years. A keen sportsman in his youth and still a dedicated follower of many sports now, he grew up in Kent before moving to South Wales in 2003. Son of an English father and a Welsh mother, he finally put pen to paper on a story he’d had running through his head for years which eventually became ‘The Circle of Fire’. Originally planned as a stand alone novel, it has since become the opening salvo in a series of five. He is still living in the same house his grandparents lived in and is doing his best to stay creative.

1. The Circle of Fire
A family tragedy opens the door on a magical world of power and terror. Anthony is forced to stare directly at the face of all things ‘make believe’ as he is drawn into the world his family has inhabited for generations.

2. The Circle of Duty
The fighting continued.
After a brutal introduction to The Circle, Anthony has been thrust into the front line of the conflict against The Hive as they lay siege to the site in Argentina. Guardians have been falling regularly but following the latest battle, and discovery of a theft from within the heart of The Circle, suspicion builds that there is a traitor in their ranks.
Immediately the prime suspect, Anthony confronts the very establishment of The Circle. He must reclaim what has been taken, save everyone involved and expose the real traitor for what they are, all the while being watched over by other Guardians and the enigmatic Messenger, a servant of The Mage who has more power than any of the Dragons.
Trapped within a web of protocol, long held beliefs are tested to the fullest as the trail leads to conflict of a whole new horror.
3. The Circle of Stars
Back in London, Anthony is doing his best to balance a normal life with his duties within The Circle. He’s in his old flat, working his old job and finding stability has quickly become the most important thing in his life.
But for those who know where to look, there are cracks developing.
Called to lead a reconnaissance mission to a mysterious island in the Middle East, symbols are discovered which point to a plot of direct action against The Circle by an ancient foe, long thought defeated.
Charged by the Mage with searching out the truth, Anthony has to explore the shadowy world of an ancient legend who isn’t only supremely powerful, but possibly embroiled in the plot against them.
Expectations, treachery, and even his own Dragon are threatening to overwhelm everything he tries, but when the time comes, can the answer be found in the stars?
