Coconut Grove Community Band’s first concert is going to be a memorable one. Cin Fin-Lathen is back from her Cornwall adventure, excited to be performing again, but there is a slight glitch in the program as the corpse of a fellow musician is found at intermission. Cin finds herself implicated in his murder. Enter Harry O’Rourke, a friend of the family, instructed to keep an eye on her. Within twenty-four hours another musician is murdered, and a tribute of poisonous oleander is sent to Cin. It’s a race of wits, as Cin and Harry try to solve who is killing the members of the band, before Cin herself experiences Death by Saxophone.
