My wife and I have spent our Sundays the same way for as long as I can remember. We wake up, get dressed (and do all the stuff that goes along with mornings), and then head to church. We used to stay at church for most of the day. Just listening and praying. For my wife and me, Sunday church is the time to forget about all the worries with money and work and all the other things that cause stress. Sometimes we get to church at eight and stay until close to four. Since our daughter was born, we stay for just about as long as she can take it. To be honest, she mostly sleeps through it, but it is an important time that our little family shares together.
