1. Stealing Murder – April 1961
Cat Clarke tends towards the naughty. You know…a little vengeful pickpocketing. A smidgeon of well-aimed fraud. A dabbling of burglary from the deserving.
She’s a woman with her eye on the prize, and with her unexpected team, she might have planned her greatest heist yet. Only while she’s in the act of cutting the painting from the frame, she hears a murder.
If Cat doesn’t catch the killer first, the feds may never stop chasing her. Time for her team to accomplish their greatest feat yet: find the killer, leave him gift-wrapped for the feds, and disappear into the night.
2. Conning Charming – September 1961
Welcome back to the Clarke family adventures. They’re all dabbling in trouble. Louisa is making interesting choices about who she’s going to date. Albert has admitted he’s in love but things aren’t going so well. Cat is chasing breadcrumbs trying to find the Crow before he finds her again. It’s Thea, though, who has them all on edge while working for federal agents.
Those concerns fade when those same agents ask Thea to work undercover at her old girl’s school. What could be more innocuous? She didn’t expect that assisting the art teacher would be alarming. Only, as she returns to living in the school, she finds evidence of the Crow. In no time at all, the whole Clarke family descends on the school and they have to wonder if they’re going to win this time.
