Overview: This is the year 988AR; A time of ruthless ambition, scant morality and pitiless, insatiable greed. The mighty Valetian Empire, the greatest civilisation the world has ever seen, approaches total collapse. The precious mineral Volnite upon which it’s entire economy is based dwindles. In spite of his failing power, the Emperor of the known world has seen a vision of a land of plenty, and stakes his entire future on it’s conquest. With untold plunder in mind, he summons his only son to command an Iron Dragon to pillage that land and exact terror on any who resist.
Yet far away, across the vast oceans, that green land of Laskjaer, is already beset by myriad foes. Chief of these is the one the call "The Demon". An ancient seething darkness, fueled by revenge, and desiring nothing but the death of men. All hope pins on defeating this unspeakable monster before the Kingdom falls into desolation.
At this time, the vast Draconic Skyship descends upon Laskjaer as these two civilisations collide. There the Imperial Prince, in his ravenous hunger for resources, unwittingly unchains forces so powerful that no world could ever have withstood.
