The C.T. Ferguson series by Tom Fowler (#5-6)
Requirements: .ePUB, .MOBI/.AZW reader, 1.5 MB
Overview: Tom Fowler was born and raised in Baltimore and still resides in Maryland. He is an unabashed homer for Baltimore sports teams. His full-time job is in the field of computer security. Even from a young age, Tom wanted to write. He was about seven or eight, so the stories were brief and awful. Among them was a "murder mystery" in which young Tom, a polite lad, referred to everyone as "Mr. Patrick" or "Miss Jane." The most interesting thing about the alleged murder mystery was that no one died (and, in fact, everyone recovered quite nicely in the hospital). In the intervening years, Tom has gotten over this problem with killing characters in his stories. When not working or writing, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, sports, movies, and writing brief bios in the third person.

Daughters and Sons (#5)
C.T. Ferguson has a case. Just one. It’s how he works.
Then devastating personal news leaves him shattered.
Now he’s burning the candle at both ends. His new investigation is one he never wanted and couldn’t imagine. It emerged from a lie over a decade old.
The original client demands his time, also. She’s a young woman who needs help. How much time can C.T. spare her when he’s consumed by something personal?
His dual cases will take him from Baltimore’s seediest neighborhoods to the real seat of city power. If C.T. is good enough, he’ll figure out both. He’ll get justice for the living and the dead.
If he’s not good enough, he won’t live to see his upcoming thirtieth birthday.
A March from Innocence (#6)
The worst criminals lurk in the Internet’s darkest corners.
Sometimes, they come out to play. And it’s a deadly game.
C.T. Ferguson is trying to enjoy a vacation. After his last case, he needs one. If the persistent lady from Baltimore would stop calling, it would be much easier.
It doesn’t get easier. Back home, C.T. talks to her and agrees to search for her niece, Libby. The troubled girl has been missing for some time.
C.T. hunts for the girl from the worst areas of Baltimore to the most rural parts of Maryland. When he encounters group of terrible men, he knows he’s on the right path. They hide in the shadows of the Internet and prey on the weak and vulnerable.
The system designed to protect girls like Libby let her down. Could it also be enabling the people who preyed on her? Can C.T. take them down before any more lives are ruined—including his?
