Overview: All six episodes of the apocalyptic sci-fi horror series collected together for the first time
No-one knows where the bugs come from. They emerge from the shadows all over the world, creeping and crawling out of the darkness and burrowing beneath the skin of everyone they encounter. Once inside, the bugs begin whispering dark thoughts into the minds of their hosts, driving them to carry out horrifying acts of violence against those not infected. Most survivors try to hide from the bugs and the bugged. Most don’t succeed. But all over the world, pockets of uninfected people find ways first to stay alive, then to fight back.
This is their story.

The Complete Season One includes:
Episode 1:
When the body of TV weather presenter, Lacey Crane, is found cut in half, it’s just another night in Glasgow for DCI Robert Hoon of the all-new amalgamated Police Scotland. But Lacey’s death is only the beginning of the worst night of Hoon’s life, and as chaos and violence spread across the city and beyond, others are also forced to face horrors unlike anything they’ve ever seen.
Episode 2:
Two teenage grocery store employees in Boston find themselves trapped by their ravenous boss, while elsewhere in Massachusetts a teenage girl is forced to defend herself from her deranged, ravenous family.
In Glasgow, Scotland, a mother flees in the night from her husband, who is plagued by whispering voices telling him to kill their baby daughter. Meanwhile DCI Hoon and DI Marshall of Police Scotland are forced to confront the terrible truth of what is happening to their city, as the infected begin to outnumber the survivors.
Episode 3:
In the aftermath of Episode 2, grocery-store clerks, Jaden and Col, must make their way across what’s left of the city to get to Jaden’s mom. With much of Boston now infected, though, it isn’t going to be easy. Even if they do reach her, they may already be too late. Meanwhile, in Scotland… Having narrowly surviving an encounter with an infected gang, DCI Hoon and his group head north in the hope of finding safety in the Highlands. However, even Hoon’s best-laid plans don’t always work out, and they’re barely beyond the Glasgow city limits when everything starts to fall apart…
Episode 4:
Jaden and Col have a plan that involves stealing a train and heading for New York to find Col’s parents. The only thing that stands betweem them reaching their goal is a station full of infected, hundreds of miles of track, and an angry marine who has taken their guns. Across the Atlantic, the whispers of the bug are growing louder in DCI Hoon’s head, and the Police Scotland chief is finding it increasingly difficult to control his violent temper as he tries to make his way north to reunite with the rest of his group. Meanwhile, the rest of the group is having problems of its own. Baby Immy is hungry, and with her mother not around to feed her, it falls on Daniel and Marshall to venture out in search of supplies… only for them to find someone lying in wait.
Episode 5:
Things go from bad to worse for the survivors of the Bugpocalypse, as Jaden, Col, Amy and Amanda come face to face with a terrifying new threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered. Meanwhile, in Scotland, DCI Hoon leads his group to meet Lieutenant Sweeney and his squad of soldiers, in the hope that there’s safety in numbers. But things quickly begin to unravel, and they discover that all the guns in the world can’t keep them safe for long…
Episode 6:
The Bug Episode 6 concludes season one of the six-part serialized story about ordinary people trying to survive in a terrifying post-apocalyptic world. Surrounded in a hotel in the Highlands of Scotland, DCI Hoon and his group are forced to make what could well be their last stand, as they encounter an all-new species of Bug, and the casualties start piling up. Meanwhile, south of Boston, Jaden, Col and Amy are having problems of their own. Back on their stolen train, they encounter a terrifying face from the past, and quickly come to realize that he didn’t come alone…
