1. Before The Last Star Falls
Civilian Eva Thompson steps out of a gym on a military base and her world explodes. Her city… her home… her loved ones… vanish before her eyes.
Yet there’s no time for the devastation to sink in. She awakens from the blast and finds herself, the thousands of people who are on the base with her, and the base itself trapped on a mist-covered Wonderland. A Wonderland on steroids. Frightening terrain, dangerous weather, nasty crawlers, and surprisingly attractive beings abound—some who wage war on them at every turn, one violent storm at a time. And some who spark feelings inside her she’s not ready to have.
Now Eva must team up with a group of highly trained military members to fight the countless adversities this new world throws at them, which will take her stellar intellect and a fair amount of humor for her sanity and life to survive.
But can she trust these military members any further than the attractive beings who want more from her than she’s willing to give? Or is there something far worse that wants her and the base’s annihilation, something Eva may be prophesied to face?
2. Before The Livid Sea Calms
Civilian Eva Thompson thought the worst was behind them. She was wrong.
After Eva and who is left of her people witness the life they worked so hard to rebuild crumble beneath them, she leads them to a new region for a fresh start. But this region has its own dangers and difficulties. And when the evil makes an appearance here too, she knows drastic measures must be taken.
Eva assembles a team from the military members she has worked with since they first arrived on this Wonderland on steroids, and adds an impressive civilian engineer to the mix—one who puts Eva’s stellar intellect to shame. Then once her team is ready, they set off to form the unity this world’s attractive beings say Eva is prophesied to create.
But the evil doesn’t want Eva’s quest to succeed. And some of the attractive beings she is supposed to unite might not want her to either. Beings who test Eva’s patience—and heart—far more than she tests theirs, and she test theirs quite a bit.
Will Eva and her team be able to complete their quest, save their people, and ultimately, save this world? Or will the evil win and kill them all?
3. Before The Loyal Wind Dies
Civilian Eva Thompson battles death and survives—again.
Eva has mastered how to avoid the Reaper, yet her continued existence has little to do with her stellar intellect or quirky personality. She has help staying alive, and a lot of it. She’s not even sure where or who some of the always-well-timed aid comes from.
Although, she might not be so fortunate during her next clash with death. The evil’s upped its game and has every intention of winning. It won’t stop until it terminates her and all she cares about, this crazy Wonderland on steroids and the attractive beings who inhabit it included. Losses Eva knows her heart can’t endure again.
But Eva and her team refuse to give up on the quest. They have to unify this word’s royalty if there is even a chance their people back on base are still alive, regardless how many obstacles the evil throws at them or how many failures they have. And the evil is relentless, and their failures are great.
Yet will their efforts be in vain? Or will all their blood, sweat, and tears finally pay off?
