The Banhurst Faction: Sanctified Ground by Philip Boyle
Requirements: .ePUB Reader, 552 KB
Overview: A city razed by government forces in a dystopian future and the only survivors are those who lived on and beneath the streets, the street gangs. Their numbers devastated by the raid, the Gunners must find a way to survive in the barren waste of the destroyed city under the shadow of government quarantine. The other survivors? A rival gang, the Vipers, who also know the streets as well as the Gunners, only their numbers are greater and their desperation higher.
Mason is one of the Gunners and though young, a key player in keeping the Gunners alive one more day. The surviving teenagers find themselves scavenging for food and fighting to keep the rival gang in check, while relationships between the members grow beyond the gang alliance. But life can be short in the violent world of a destroyed city, leaving the dwindling survivors to live life to the fullest while they can.
Survival is only the beginning as the mystery of Mason’s parents, and the key roles they may have played in why the city was destroyed, unfold. Deeper still is the heritage they left behind.
Sanctified Ground is the land you bleed on, the blocks you bleed for, and the bonds of brother and sisterhood you’d give your life to defend. Local rival gangs or the might of a government gone wrong, it’s all the same when it comes to defending what’s yours.
