Somewhat skeptical of Jingle’s heritage, the Baker kids demand proof so she obliges with a whirlwind sleigh ride to the North Pole. Meantime parents Kyle and Liz are dealing with the horrors of last-minute shopping and the now-stranded Santa is mistaken for a prowler as he searches suburbia for both his daughter and his missing sleigh.

Drawn by Kyle Baker from a story by Paul Dini with gags contributed by the entire Baker family, The Bakers Meet Jingle Belle promises to be the must-have comics treat of the holiday season.

Dini Plus Baker equals Merry Christmas Reviewed by Silkcuts on Nov. 28, 2010.

Paul Dini writes women well. Harley Quinn to Zatanna to Jingle Belle, he loves the ladies. Kyle Baker is one of the funniest guys in comics. Both in Bakers writing and art he can warm my black heart. Enough of the creators, if you don’t know either, shame on you. If you only know Dini your half way there to my cool books. This is a great team up with two creators’ creator-owned properties mixing for a fun story of Christmas spirit. The Bakers become the focus point, since there are more of them. Jingle Bell is added comic relief to an already funny family. This comic is family friendly, fun and likes to ask great questions like “how does reindeers fly?” Or “how does Santa deliver all the presents in a day”. I enjoyed this comic a lot and am glad two creators I enjoy work together and balance enough of their own style in this single Holiday comic. If you see it as a back issue, it makes a good stocking stuffer or joker gift, etc.

      Cheers
