Overview: On a hot, humid summer day in 1998, in Hampton, Ohio, ten-year-old, Billy Hall is driving around in the neighborhood Good Humor truck with someone that his mother believes she can trust with her only child. However, that turns out not to be the case, as Billy is taken to a ‘Dead End Street’ near a secluded dirt path and is sexually abused by the ice cream truck employee.
Although young Billy swears to his abuser, who had recently been divorced and is pushing forty, that he will not reveal their secret, something doesn’t feel right.
That night, Billy tells his mother what had happened; she is horrified. Cannot believe that someone would do that to her child. This sets the stage for warfare. A dramatic showdown that can only end one way, either in a court of law, or with bloodshed.
