#1 – Awakened
In the Future, Even the Broken Can Make a Change…
When a nascent AI hacks her holo device, Molly Bates has to think fast and get out of the military before anyone discovers what has happened. The only problem?
The swiftest way out is also the most embarrassing. Mortifyingly embarrassing.
Ever the underdog, Molly refuses to stay down. What follows is a rough and tumble adventure that takes Molly, and her team of change makers, up against an enemy with power they had not considered.
Regrouping off world they set up base on an asteroid that has its own mysteries to uncover.
Set on the foundation laid by the Kurtherian Gambit Series, Awakening tells an entirely new story in the Age of Expansion–when the Etheric Empire is fast becoming the Etheric Federation with all of the trials and tribulations that come with bringing together different peoples, systems, and ideals.
#2 – Activated: Age Expansion
In the Future, Even the Broken Can Make a Change…
When Molly gets called onto a case that she is uniquely qualified for, the team discovers a little more about her past.
In the race against the clock to prevent the city of Spire from being subjected to a deadly toxin, it takes both new team members and new allies working together in order to save the millions of lives.
Meanwhile, problems continue on the political scene, and exciting progress is made with the investigation into the strange door in the safe house basement.
Set on the foundation laid by the Kurtherian Gambit Series, Activated tells an entirely new story in the Age of Expansion–when the Etheric Empire is fast becoming the Etheric Federation with all of the trials and tribulations that come with bringing together different peoples, systems, and ideals.
#3 – Called: Age Of Expansion
After earning access to a secret base beneath their safe house, Molly and her team are beyond excited by the “toys” they find.
However, before they get to explore the super advanced tech and ships they find there, they need to pass one more test. A test which may be more convoluted and intriguing than they could possibly have imagined.
Fighting conspiracies, and outright assaults, Molly and her merry band find themselves on a series of riling missions to save lives, and do the right thing, against all odds.
Sean Royale also seems to have a few more surprises up his sleeve, and Maya Johnstone isn’t going down without a fight, leaving the General very few options.
#4 – Sanctioned
General Lance Reynolds needs Molly’s team for a clandestine operation. The only problem? It kicks off in one week, and the Syndicate needs cleaning up once and for all.
So what is a girl to do? Go on the offensive, of course. But with the ultimate take down planned for the bad guys of Planet Estaria, you know it’s going to be EPIC.
But at what cost?
#5 – Rebirth
Molly is back from the dead. And now even more capable. But the transformation is not without more serious issues.
Problems that not even ADAM can help with.
Feeling cursed, she undergoes a Vision Quest. The rest of the team prepare for the General’s clandestine assignment back at the base.
But with the fate of the Federation hanging in the balance, a question arises.
Can Molly handle this next mission?
#6 – Retribution
Sometimes, retribution is a slippery slope towards self-destruction.
When the General Invites Molly and her crew to the ArchAngel, it’s not long before news also arrives of a serious threat to the Federation.
It falls to Molly and her team to deal with the threat, which winds up in an intense hostage situation.
Meanwhile, back on Sark, Molly’s team helps Chaakwa along with her unconventional help to bring her father’s killers to justice.
Can Molly handle everything thrown at her?
#7 – Cloaked
Not everything someone sees is real. Now, both sides of the story are tested by those who hide their reasons.
For some, the reasons are good, for others not so much.
Molly, Oz, Joel, Sean, Jack and the others are back in Action, supporting the Etheric Federation to stop a planet from being destroyed. At the same time, Molly is working on a personal project to implement teaching at a higher level.
But who knew that politics ran institutions of learning?
Join our team as they go undercover, cloaked, to help save … a world.
#7.5 – Giles Kurns: Rogue Operator (Confessions Of A Space Anthropologist Book 1)
How do you domesticate a roguish space archeologist who is addicted to adventure?
Answer: You can’t.
When Professor Giles Kurns discovered a crucial piece of intel he returns to the ArchAngel command ship with a compelling argument for him to be allowed to reopen an old research project.
But this time, it was more than intellectual curiosity.
The continued existence of the Federation, and perhaps all species in the Loop and Pan Galaxies were at stake.
Having convinced General Lance Reynolds of the imminent significance of his findings, Giles and his partner in crime, Arlene Bailey, set out to the Orn System for a spot of tomb raiding.
Together with the Empress’s old covert ops war ship, fully equipped with Gate technology and a rather spunky AI, they embark on a swashbuckling adventure of danger and intrigue to uncover the truth about the Ascension Myth.
Will they solve the riddle of the strange but powerful talismans before it’s too late?
#8 – Bourne
The same military base where Oz was created witnesses the birth of another AI.
The only problem?
The military is the one who sets the ground rules.
So, what is a new daddy AI supposed to do?
Meanwhile, others are attacking the college, and Giles has to get his game on to protect his students – Space Archaeologist style.
And Molly is faced with the biggest and most dangerous meeting of her whole adult life.
She is going to meet her parents.
What could possibly go wrong?
#8.5 – Giles Kurns: Rogue Instigator (Confessions Of A Space Anthropologist Book 2)
Sometimes, it doesn’t pay to get out of bed in the morning.
For Giles Kurns, he is ready to not only get out of bed, but ready to get back into the field and start tracking a new lead for a relic the Federation wants.
Unfortunately, When he and Arlene come close to the potential lead, they find a complication in the ship, and a world that has their own problems.
Problems Giles believes he can help solve.
The only problem is Giles will have to get his hands dirty to accomplish the impossible…
Committed (#9)
Sean Royale is AWOL and in trouble.
Molly’s Mom is encroaching on the operation on Gaitune. And the university is under threat from a new player in the system. Tensions mount as secrets unfurl, culminating in Molly walking down the aisle to try and save her ruggedly handsome friend. Meanwhile, Paige and Maya stay behind to protect the home front as best they can: with only a few yoll-aritas, and a bad boy AI to help. There is no doubt: trouble is brewing in the Sark System. And it’s bigger than any of them could imagine.
Subversion (#10)
Molly learns a lesson or two when what should have been a routine mission turns into a comical farce.
Meanwhile down on Estaria Director Bates puts together pieces of a plot which point to a reality check for the Federenials who always thought that the Federation would be there to protect them. At some point, Molly grew up and it takes a Grimes to show her, and her team, how Molly has changed. And Molly to help re-direct a Grimes towards the right path in life.
Invasion (#11)
When a blip appears on the Ogg-Estarian military radar monitoring the Outer System, things in the system are set to change forever. Molly and her crew face one of their biggest challenges yet, and the problem isn’t the supposed threat from outside. It’s from the planet itself. Molly rallies the troops for a particularly dangerous encounter, but also needs to call in some favors from some old friends. Will she be able to stop things from boiling over in time? After all, the fate of the Sark System, and the Federation, now hangs in a delicate balance.
#12 – Ascension
The end is nigh, and there is one small group willing to put their bodies in front of the insane.
Sometimes, it isn’t good people doing bad things but rather bad people without a conscious making decisions for the rest.
Decisions that Molly has been fighting for years.
This time, sacrifices will be made, and friends will line up shoulder to shoulder to stand against those who use fear to sway the masses.
It is time to fully realize what must be done to Ascend.
Join Molly and the Sanguine Squadron for their last adventure as they race to save the world from itself.
