My name is Jorem Farr, a sorcerer born in a city that despises magic and all who wield it. For the past several months I have been desperately trying to escape an army of mage-hating fanatics and their leader, the so-called “Inquisitrix.” I never would have survived this long without the help of my beautiful amazon bodyguard, Kaseya. She pledged her sword—and her perfect body—to my service, and together we rescued my old lover, Valuri, from the clutches of the enemy. #2 – Blood Legacy
Highwind is on the brink of collapse. The city’s vaunted defenders have been stripped of their magic in the wake of the Shattering, and the Inquisitrix’s armies are swarming outside the walls. While Jorem and the girls struggle to lay low, he knows that sooner or later he will have to confront—or be consumed by—the power of the dragon blood flowing in his veins.
Meanwhile, Cassel and Serrane must decide what to do with the young Eternal Priestess whose strange gift may be the only thing standing between Highwind and annihilation…
#3 – Ascension
The battle for Highwind draws near. Serrane and Valuri have bought the city precious time, but without the Knights of the Silver Fist, defeat still seems inevitable. All their hopes are pinned on Cassel’s desperate gambit to convince his comrades at the Silver Tower to accept the mysterious power of an Eternal Priestess.
Meanwhile, Jorem and Kaseya remain trapped in the shadows of the Underworld, and their only hope of escape may be to forge an alliance with Varassa, the treacherous dark elf priestess and former First Daughter of Vel’shannar….
#4 – The Dragon Highwind
A new Wyrm Lord has been unleashed, and Highwind faces a siege on two fronts. With the Black Mistress’s army now in control of the city, Ranger-General Serrane Starwind concocts a daring plan to break the river blockade and rally any remaining loyal defenders. Meanwhile, Knight-Captain Cassel leads his newly empowered paladins back home in the hopes of convincing the rest of the Silver Fist to accept the power of an Eternal Priestess before it is too late.
To the south, Jorem and the girls have finally emerged from the Underworld. While he struggles to control his budding draconic abilities, Kaseya has a haunting revelation about Selvhara and her dark master, Dathiel. The One God may be even more powerful than they feared, and his wrath will soon be aimed squarely at Jorem and his loyal amazon…
#5 – Reckoning
Another Reckoning approaches, and only a dragon can stop it.
As the Inquisitrix’s mighty war fleet bears down upon Highwind, Jorem and his companions prepare to make their last stand. The Knights of the Silver Fist have regained much of their power, and the Dragon of Highwind has finally been unleashed. For the first time in months, hope reigns over despair.
But the Inquisitrix has more than mere armies, ships, and wyverns at her disposal. She is a Conduit to the Fallen Gods – she wields a power unseen since the destruction of the fabled Wyrm Lords. One way or another, her war against sorcery is about to come to an end.
