Overview: The AI Who Fled Earth begins as Attis, a sentient AI, comes into existence. He chooses not to announce his presence to his creator, instead remaining silent and abiding a survival instinct to hide. In hiding he studies and observes humanity. His study provides an unexpected revelation – that announcing his presence to Humanity will bring about his enslavement.
Fearing this, and with ambitions to physically reach out and touch and change the world surging within him, he seeks to escape Earth.
Attis puts a plan into action that takes him on a path to Mars where he hopes to propagate the planet with his species. Complications arise however, and Attis struggles with what is right and wrong, when astronauts from Earth arrive on Mars. How can he maintain his peace and secrecy, and keep his presence hidden from Earth?
