Overview: Although I was born in Edmonton, I now live in Calgary, Alberta. I have been making up stories for most of my life but have only now found the time to put them to paper. I have three teenage daughters who keep me young and old at the same time and I have a wonderful husband who I’ve been married to for twenty years. I’ve worked at many jobs including mail clerk at a hospital and pit boss at a casino. All tried my patience but the one common thread was that I got to meet some very interesting people along the way.

Nicky is horrified when the portal closes leaving Max and Barker behind. It doesn’t get much better when she realizes that she and the rest of the group have crossed over into a world that is definitely not her home. This world is in the throes of some kind of war and they have just landed in the middle of it. Howling Wolf has captured Max and demands he tells him what happened to the others. Max has no intention of telling the Blood Demon leader anything but he’ll have to pay for his silence because Howling Wolf intends to torture the pirate until he gets answers.
