Overview: I am an ‘Aussie’ that has lived in Michigan, USA since 2001. The winter months are great for writing. The summer months are great for motor bike riding. When not writing or riding, my time is spent playing a variety of PC games, usually, RTS or MMO’s. Am starting to get to old and slow for first person shooters. The younguns have faster reflexes.
Genre: Fiction; Sci-fi/Fantasy

#1 – First Contact
he adventure you’re about to embark upon is one of discovery and hope, as humanity comes to terms with its ‘First Contact’. When a fleet of spaceships arrives in orbit, it raises a number of compelling questions. What brings them here? Are they friendly? What will happen to us? The visitors from space do not behave exactly how we expected them to. But then, what did we really expect to happen? With the intentions of our visitors not being fully known or understood, we are powerless to do more than become bystanders to our own fate. As the series unfolds we discover that many answers simply raise even more questions.

Earth’s history is replete with examples of what happens when a powerful civilization meets a technologically inferior culture. The less advanced culture never comes away unaffected, at best they survive.

#2 – Discovery
The Gamin have left Earth, and in doing so have raised many questions. Clearly we are not alone in the universe. As the alien visitor’s ships have revealed, space is not a peaceful place. The discovery of a massive construction dock in the Australian Outback surprises all. The partially built spacecraft within its confines is a baffling mystery to many, a technological marvel to others. A consortium of countries pool their resources in their attempt to complete the ‘Terran’. Will the massive vessel even be able to launch? If so, will the crew begin their journey to the stars? Or will that be denied to them by the orbiting satellite grid the Gamin left behind?

Cindy, commands an assortment of people from all over the world. Her skills are put to the test over and over as the crew endures one harrowing event after another. With their very lives hanging in the balance she is forced to make decisions that have far reaching consequences.

George, once again, finds himself embroiled in events beyond his control as fate and destiny collide. Lisa and Johnny can only wait as he is propelled toward his ultimate destiny. Commander John looks forward to flying the massive spacecraft with trepidation. Arguably the best pilot in the world, his capabilities are pushed to their limits, and beyond. The Australian astronomers Joe and Andrew find themselves trying to comprehend the alien technology. They are tasked with navigating the alien spacecraft, assuming it can get off the ground and into space. Radclyf and Hayato find themselves, and their respective combat teams, experiencing the adventure of a lifetime as foes old and new challenge them. The brave Russian Olaf and his secretive countryman Peter, complete the main crew as the story continues.

Humanity’s first spacecraft, the Terran, finally returns home. The crew is stunned to discover that while their trek lasted for less than a year, three years has passed on Earth. Gamin technologies have begun making their way into everyday life, which in turn has changed the world’s political landscape.
Fearing the Terran lost, a coalition of nations has pooled their resources into building a new spacecraft at the alien construction dock. They also constructed a massive space-station, one to replace the International Space Station which was destroyed by the Gamin.

Meanwhile, other nations have not been lax in their integration of alien technologies. China turns their economic might to the study the alien technology, and to further their own plans for space exploration. Other countries, fearing being left behind, join one side or the other, and combine their resources into the escalating space race. But who will launch their spaceship first?

The Terran has survived its first foray into space, the crew returning home has made new friends, and discovered fresh dangers. The Terran’s return ignites the world, their survival, and discoveries sparks renewed efforts into humanity’s expansion into space.

While the coalition continues to steadily construct their colony ship, China shocks everyone when their spacecraft launches first.
