Taxi (#1): A short love story that plays in the early 90’s in Berlin, Germany.

Trials (#2): Now that Carmen has almost recovered from her injuries caused by a car accident, Carmen and Ulrike can begin and enjoy their relationship in earnest.
On the occasion of Carmen’s mother’s birthday, Ulrike is about to meet Carmen’s family for the first time, including Carmen’s brother José, whose reckless driving, in Ulrike’s opinion, landed Carmen in hospital.
Both women are rather apprehensive about this meeting, however, the afternoon with the family yields some unexpected results for both of them.

Trauma (#3): It’s a beautiful summer day in August.
While Carmen and José are on a day trip, Ulrike contents herself with the mundane task of catching up with her housework, dreaming that the evening may bring a more enjoyable close to the day… until she receives an unexpected phone call.

Timing (#4): Even the best intentions are sometimes difficult to follow through when unfortunate timing persistently upsets the plans. On the other hand, timing can be surprisingly fortunate when it wasn’t even intended.

Talk (#5): When Carmen and Ulrike unite, there are still a host of unresolved issues to tackle. And of course, there are always the parents!
Will talking things over resolve their issues, or simply open up old wounds?

Tuxedo (#6): Carmen unexpectedly receives tickets for the opera. She’d love to go, but she isn’t sure if she can persuade Ulrike to accompany her.
Ulrike doesn’t fancy operas, and she is quite relieved when she realises that she has an excuse not to go. When Carmen finds a solution for her excuse, Ulrike grudgingly agrees to go, but at the last moment she comes up with a condition that she believes her partner will never accept – that she may wear a tuxedo.

Tactics (#7): Ulrike and Carmen are preparing to leave for a short holiday when their excitement is interrupted by an unexpected problem.
Ulrike steps in to solve the issue in her own unique and unconventional way, much to Carmen’s disapproval.
Has Ulrike gone a bit too far this time for their relationship to survive?

Trip (#8): While finally on their trip to Bavaria, Ulrike and Carmen experience a variety of struggles. While they both learn more about each other, they also have to face some very personal fears. Will this trip strengthen their bond or will their fears drive them apart?

Telephone (#9): It’s Ulrike’s birthday. Carmen tries her luck at buying practical presents rather than pretty ones. Ulrike’s brother and mother are delighted, however, for Ulrike those presents come with challenges that Carmen had not bargained for.
Far more than expensive presents, Ulrike would appreciate it if Carmen had more time for her, alas Carmen seems to spend more time with her pupils than with her, and Ulrike begins to wonder if this relationship is really worth all the effort.

Traditions (#10): It’s Christmas time, and Ulrike finally gets to meet Carmen’s grandmother. Although warned by Carmen and José about the old woman’s antics, this Christmas Eve with Oma Hertha turns out to hold more surprises than Ulrike could ever have imagined.

Teamwork (#11): Ulrike is not happy when she learns that her brother has to move out in a few days and he doesn’t know where to go. Not only will she have to help him move, but she also has to take him in, and both proves to be quite a challenge.

Threats (#12): While Ulrike is wondering about her mother’s strange behaviour, Carmen is having a hard time with some of her pupils. When one of the pupils threatens to out her, Carmen makes a drastic decision with creative consequences.

Torment (#13): While Carmen lives at Ulrike’s, their relationship is put to the test. Not only do they both deal very differently with the traumatic event they experienced, but matters get even more complicated when Tanja asks them for help.

Taxi 1992 (Books #1-#10): The Taxi series is an ongoing series that revolves around a lesbian couple in Berlin in the early 90s; their everyday struggles with each other as well as with friends and family.
If you want erotica, this series is not for you.
If you like character driven soap operas that focus more on the relationship rather than on sex, and that touch many different issues while not lacking a humorous side, this series might be for you.
This collection contains books 1 – 10 of the Taxi series, all playing in 1992.
