Tao of Love Series by Sedonia Guillone (Books #1-4)
Requirements: ePUB Reader, 1.2 mb
Overview: The Tao of Love series is an interconnected yet stand alone series of books that explores the relationships between sensuality and spirit, each in its own unique way. I was very inspired by erotic romance author, Jade Lee’s Tigress series (Dorchester) in which she incorporates the practice of the sexual Tao and of the White Tigress/Jade Dragon with the development of a romantic relationship. When I read her books, I felt a connection to those elements since I am an avid reader of Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese philosopher who originated the writings of the Tao.
Genre: Romance MM/MFM/MF
Danny’s Dragon (Tao of Love #1) (MM)
For six months, Danny has lusted after the gorgeous police officer, David Pearce, who patrols the building where he works. He doesn’t imagine, however, for a second that the attraction is mutual. However, when he’s mugged one night after leaving work, the cop who tries to apprehend the mugger turns out to be that same sexy David Pearce. Danny knows the man who attacked him was only hungry and needed food, so he prevents Dave from pursuing him. But in the aftermath of the attack, Danny sees that life is giving him an opportunity to spend time with the man he desires.
Dave is floored by the way Danny steps in between him and the vagrant who mugged him, showing compassion for his attacker. Danny is quiet and strange…and incredibly handsome, the object of Dave’s fantasies for the last six months. This quiet act of strength draws him even more strongly to Danny. And even though Danny wouldn’t let him arrest his attacker, he does let Dave drive him home and bring him comfort. That one night of pleasure leads to more — searing passion and incredible mind-blowing sex.
Until Dave’s painful past looms up…then it’ll take more than simmering lust to save the bond they share.
Kiss of the Werewolf (Tao of Love #2)
Three years ago Dr. Jie Sing was bitten by a werewolf on the grassy plains of Tibet. A man with healing hands and heart, and a master in Tai Chi, he resists the ravening beast that now lives inside him. However, the beast hungers for the soothing comfort that only his destined mate can provide. When his Master and adoptive father learns through an astrological prediction that Jie does, indeed, have a mate, Jie travels to America to claim her. He is surprised to find a girl named Megan, a golden haired woman with who runs a Chinese market in the heart of Boston’s Chinatown who has mastered Tai Chi and speaks perfect Chinese. However, the animal attraction he feels for her is undeniable and he knows that she is his mate.
Megan Phillips was not prepared for the intense attraction she experienced for the handsome, mild mannered doctor who walked through the door of her market. In the wake of her beloved Chinese grandfather and teacher’s death, she has struggled for months to keep up her livelihood while grieving. Jie, as mysterious as he is kind, comes in and gives her the tenderness and support she has been craving – something she’s never experienced with any other man. Soon, she will learn that he is indeed, unlike any other man she’s ever met.
However, the stars also predicted another werewolf, Ivan Schenko, a Russian gangster who is told that he, too, has a mate — he also comes to claim her. He’s tough and ruthless and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Kiss of the Twin Werewolves (Tao of Love #3)
After finding each other in Kiss of the Werewolf, Jie and Megan have now turned to practicing the sexual Tao in an attempt to cure Jie of his lycanthropy. In the midst of their practice, they are interrupted by a disturbing phone call. Jie’s ex-wife accuses him of stalking her, but that’s not possible, considering Jie is in the United States while his ex is back in China.
Now faced with a larger problem than being a werewolf, Jie returns to Beijing with Megan in search of the stalker. Once Jie has cleared his name, he’ll return to America and continue his “cure.” He thinks. The mystery at hand proves more complicated and disturbing than he thought. And far more…erotic.
Megan loves Jie as he is. She couldn’t care less that he’s a werewolf, but she’ll do anything to relieve his distress, including the centuries’ old erotic practices of the Tao. Not like that’s a hardship. But Jie’s rejection of his inner beast proves to have greater consequences than either of them could have imagined, and Megan finds herself between two werewolves in need of sexual healing. Literally.
