Overview: Ben Winston (1965 – ?) was born in Iowa and grew up in Minnesota on the family dairy farm. Upon reaching adulthood, he joined the United States Army as a communications technician. Before getting out of the military, he decided to go to school for computer electronics.
Shortly after getting out of the military, and after getting a new job with an over-seas company, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. A month after beginning the new job, he was laid off due to budget over-runs on the project he was hired for. Upon returning to the United States, he had difficulty maintaining employment because of the chronic illness.
He began writing as a form of stress release, from being home bound and not being able to work, and found he liked writing erotica. Ben wrote a trilogy called the Talosian Chronicles (Currently in rewrite to remove the graphic sex and finalized his vision of the story). The first book, Star Dancer, won awards and was nominated for many others by the online communities where it was posted.

1. Olympus
Over four-thousand years ago, a star ship crashed on the dark side of the moon. Acting on its final orders, the AI began repairs, and then searched for a new crew. How will Ian overcome this enemy and save the day?
3. Talosian Alliance
Ian and friends believe that the Talosian Ruling council is sending a delegation to negotiate the Terran inclusion into the Talosian Alliance. After the delegates arrive from New Talos, they uncover a plot to overthrow the Talosian Council, and take control of the Terran Facilities.
4. Neptune’s Massif
Alan Carlson prepares his team to take the Caldarian Base under the Atlantic Ocean. Ian leads a force to help New Talos settle a civil war. While the Alliance of Races tries to adjust to a new terror based campaign by the Empire. A squadron or Raptors are set to search out the method or device being used to move imperial warships virtually instantly across vast distances and destroy it.
5. Raptor Squadron
The Raptor teams on route to the Imperial base plan how to destroy the rings. Ian calms the Alliance, and helps strengthen trust. The Tiamat returns to Sol Sector and the battle for Hyperion is next. Ian worked out a trap for Imperial forces with H’joles before leaving High Command. With Alliance forces behind him, Ian jumps out to retake Hyperion. The attack at Hyperion is timed for the attack on the mysterious rings by the Raptors. Both are a success but have a high cost. A mentally unstable Emperor orders Shalo to find the new humans and destroy them utterly. He redoubles the efforts to find the new humans. Janet Lasker foretells a massive battle in which Sol System is destroyed by a massive enemy armada. When the Benesians confirm her vision, Ian begins to prepare Earth for.
