Overview: Tainted was an American-produced comic book, created and written by Janie Delano and illustrated by Al Davidson.
Only one issue was ever produced. The artist had only ever intended to produce one issue. The work in itself was really more similar to the classic literature of the 18th and 19th centuries, and could be described as a more darker version of a Kafkaesque short story. The comic debuted in February of 1995, under the lable DC/Vertigo, and would have been under a special series called “Vertigo Voices.” Having recorded this confession, Steve confronts both Palmer and Lisa with his blackmail intentions and a final three-way confrontation unfolds.
