Ophelia by D.S. Ryelle (House Osborn #2)
Requirements: ePUB or Mobi Readers | 5.04 MB
Overview: Amazon Description
It is December 14, 2002. Ophelia Osborn is in bed with her fiancé when her bodyguard brings her the news—her father, American science magnate Norman Osborn, was killed in an accident three weeks before. With Dr. Osborn gone, Ophelia must return to America to fulfill her duties as heir to her father’s empire.

Interweaving the Spider-Man movies directed by Sam Raimi, Ophelia tells the hidden story of the Osborn family. When Norman died, the House of Osborn did not end…and the outcome was all a part of his master plan.

Author’s Note: I applied twice for a copyright variance from Marvel, but never received a response. Since Ophelia Osborn was a character dreamed up in tandem with a gentleman claiming to be (executive producer) Grant Curtis, it is in a gray area between canon and fan fiction. See the copyright page for further information.
Rated 17: these books may have profanity, violence, sex and other concepts inappropriate for young minds.

How it’s described on my site…
(Original Title: Meet Ophelia)
Several months before the release of the first Sam Raimi-directed Spider-Man movie, a gentleman claiming to be producer Grant Curtis tentatively offered Dayanara a role in the third movie. After months of little to no progress, Renaissance Pictures ended the deal, leaving Dayanara with a rough sketch of her character’s past and bereft of a future in film. But what this gentleman failed to realize is that you cannot give a novelist a "storyseed" and expect her to ignore it for the rest of her life. After seven years of sporadic work (and dealing with the disappointment of no blessing from Marvel), Dayanara released Meet Ophelia, and shortened it to its present title for a later edition. Though the Spider-Man cinematic universe has undergone drastic changes since the initial release of Ophelia, Dayanara has no expectations for her debut novel, even if someone of influence should take notice.

(Another one where I haven’t written book one yet…I may put a ghostwriter on it.)
Genre: Fiction > media tie-in, superhero fantasy
