Overview: Scot C. Morgan lives in Texas with his wife and three kids. When not writing or reading, he gardens, does woodworking and spends time with his family and friends. He has two dogs, two cats and three chickens. He studied history, computer science and Chinese at university. After a stint working at a humanities research library, he took a job in computer network administration, working throughout the United States and in several countries overseas. Eventually, he returned to Texas, settling into a job at a book store for a year (as an easy way to buy more books), before moving into international shipping. After ten years in an export logistics career, he finally decided to become a full-time writer in late 2012. He writes speculative fiction and thrillers.

But the horseback road trip is anything but an easy ride through the countryside, when vagabonds, lurking monsters, and dark sorcerers with sinister plans rise from the shadows to threaten him and the lives of the women he’s sworn to protect.
Can he swing his mighty sword enough to thrust his way ever closer to destiny, or will the wilds of Galderia and the forces of darkness prove too much for him?
