1. Baby Mine
Eric had loved and lost. His wife had suddenly passed away in a car accident and he had believed his chances of being a father were long past. They had struggled with fertility and had seen a specialist who had fertilized several eggs for them and kept them frozen for Eric, just on the safe side. He had sworn up one side and down the other that without Victoria, he had no interest in the embryos.
It isn’t until he gets confirmation from a panicked man at the clinic telling him that a woman had accidently received their eggs instead of her own that Eric realized that if he was going to be a father anyways, he wanted to be the one to raise the baby in question.
Madeline had given up on finding the perfect man to conceive the child she wanted so desperately and had done the unthinkable… She’d gone to a fertility doctor to look into using a sperm donor.
She had been over the moon happy when she was told that the procedure had been a success… at least until an angry rancher showed up on her door demanding access to her unborn baby. She had gone through a lot to find a way to have this child. There was no way she was handing it over to some overbearing cowboy.
They both thought of Lillie Rose as theirs… the only things in question were how they were going to deal with the fact that they both had rights where the sweet baby girl was concerned. The bigger problem was figuring out what they were going to do about the growing attraction they begin to feel for each other the more time they spend getting to know the daughter they share.
2. Texas Heat
Travis Robbins had a problem. In order to keep his interfering mother off his back about his unmarried state, he had told the whopper of all lies. Now, his mother is sick and may not make it, so he has to go home. After packing everything he owned into his car and hitting the road, the last thing Travis expected was for his classic muscle car to fizzle out and die on him right in the middle of the hot Texas desert.
Thankfully, he’d been told by the tow truck driver that there was a really good mechanic in the neighboring town. What he was surprised to find when he got there though, was a seriously hot brunette who knew her way around his car like no man he’d ever met. He couldn’t seem to keep his eyes or his hands off her smoking hot body and when she got his car up and running in practically no time, Travis came up with the insane idea to get her to agree to pose as his wife for the next few weeks.
It was the perfect solution… until in the process of acting the part of a lovesick husband, he accidently manages to fall for the raven haired beauty. If he thinks getting the stubborn mechanic to marry him for real is going to be easy though, he’s got another thing coming. Laurie Schmidt is the middle child and only girl in her family. According to her, her two brothers are both meddlesome and protective.
If Travis has any hope of winning Laurie as his wife, he’s going to have to battle a lot more than the Texas heat.
3. Rodeo Daddy
Jeff Schmidt was a big name in the rodeo circuit and he was determined not to settle down with any one woman. He played the field and took full advantage of the buckle bunnies that followed his career. One particular buckle bunny kept showing up at all of his gigs for well over a year and he had begun to look forward to seeing her without realizing what was happening. Then all of the sudden, she just stopped coming. It had been almost two years since he’d last seen Dana. Then all of the sudden, when he was between rodeos he was in town… just a few miles from his house when he spotted her at a pharmacist’s office. Her sister was dying and she was there to take care of her and her daughter. Or at least Jeff thought the toddler was Dana’s sisters’ … When he finds out that Alexis is actually his daughter things change for the self proclaimed lifetime bachelor. There are a lot of things he can do, but he can’t turn his back on his own child. Not when her mother is about to lose the only family member she has. Dana is determined to raise Alexis herself. She’s not about to hand her daughter over to her rodeo lover. Not while she’s still got breath left in her lungs. The only way either of them will ever accept the other as a parent to the little girl they both loved was if they did it together. For the most stubborn of the Schmidt children, it was going to be a very difficult compromise to make. Everything is bigger in Texas… and the bigger they are, the harder they fall. It’s only a matter of time before the rodeo daddy takes the tumble.
