Overview: I’ve been obsessed with the written word for as long as I can remember. When I was just a toddler, I enjoyed banging away on an old manual typewriter (remember those?!) I’d then hand the sheet of gibberish to my parents to hunt for any words that might have tumbled out. I was reading before Kindergarten and finished my first adult novel at age 7 (Stephen King’s Carrie if you’re curious.) I love writing and reading speculative fiction. Anything that is just a shade or two off real life does it for me.

This serial follows a cast of characters as the world slips into chaos at an alarming rate. An epidemic is sweeping the country. Emergency rooms are flooded with catatonic patients, morgues stuffed with the people they kill before slipping into the unresponsive state. A new street drug? An aggressive disease?
