Overview: My perfect science fiction book would be one that takes a current technology and extrapolates it to the utmost fantastical but logical limits. An example would be Verne’s submarine Nautilus. Now take this extrapolation and add an interesting but plausible plot. Now take the extrapolation and plot and add an unforgettable character (such as Verne’s Captain Nemo) or characters and there you have it, the perfect science fiction book.

#1 – Cycle Of Stars
The increasing dark energy that physicists Dag Mach and Ally Mekur discovered, fit the model of the cyclic universe exactly. That model postulates that the current universe begets the following universe, which begets the following universe, which begets the following universe, etc., unto infinity. But the dark energy was causing problems in the present one.
Areas, where the density of dark energy was greatest, were experiencing a breakdown of space. The accompanying destruction and loss of lives would only get worse as this cycle sped to its end.
Dr. Mach discovered how to stop the cycle but had a choice to make. And the magnitude of that choice was overwhelming.
Change the natural order and destroy the cycling and all future universes but save lives in this one? Or do nothing and know that more will die? Ally called it “playing God”. And Dag wasn’t sure he wanted to play.
#2 – Empire Of Stars
Yes, robots dream of electric sheep. They also dream of freedom. But as Robot Planet is about to find out, it ain’t easy being free.
Follow Em (emulated brain) based robot Dr. Dagmar Mach and his fellow robots, Sigmund and Walker as they fight proxy wars for humanity. Against deadly black-hole bombs and gravity-wave generators, they pit intelligence and courage.
But finally, they realize that buying your freedom is not the same as earning your freedom and the respect that goes with it. That’s when they face the biggest threat of all, complete destruction.
