#1 – Sage and the Journey to Wishworld
Welcome to Starling Academy. Twelve very special students have been selected from this year’s class to reclaim the wish energy that powers their beloved planet, Starland. The Star Darlings, as they are known, take classes where they learn how to grant the wishes made on birthday candles, shooting stars, dandelions, wishbones, and coins tossed into fountains, just to name a few. Their top-secret mission will take them to Wishworld (known in some places as Earth). There they will have to find the Wisher and figure out how to grant the wish before time runs out and they are stuck on Wishworld forever. Sage is the first Star Darling soaring off to Wishworld. Travel with her as she discovers how challenging life on a new planet can be and how she learns the importance of friendship, teamwork, and never assuming anything.
#2 – Libby and the Class Election
Charming Libby is a people pleaser who is slow at making decisions. She has to learn how to say no, stand up for herself, and feel more confident about her choices.
All of the Star Darling roommates have received beautiful bouquets of sparkly flowers welcoming them to Star Academy. The band tryouts begin and many different girls show up to audition. Meanwhile, the Star Darlings are dealing with their personal conflicts and issues.
Libby’s mission: Libby finds a flower in the Wish Caves, but her only clue as to whom it belongs is a ballot with two names on it. When Libby goes down to Wishworld, she identifies the wisher and exhausts herself, thinking she has to help grant all the wishes. Libby’s friends come down to help her get back on track.
#3 – Leona’s Unlucky Mission
Leona thinks she is the center of the universe, and can be quite bossy. She must recognize that the world does not revolve around her while not losing her powerful self-confidence.
Leona expects all conversations with the other girls to be about Leona which often leads to arguments between her and her friends.
Leona’s mission: Leona helps girl named Sydney who wants to compete in her boarding school’s talent show but lacks the confidence to even try out. Leona struggles with anything that gets in the way of her being the center of attention. Thus, Leona plans to sing a duet with Sydney which, again, puts Leona on stage instead of allowing Sydney to shine. Her fellow Star Darlings come down to get her back on track.
#4 – Vega and the Fashion Disaster
Vega tends to be too uptight and judgmental and she is a real worrywart. She needs to figure out how to loosen up while retaining her excellent decision-making skills.
The Star Darlings attempt to put aside petty issues to save Starland.
Vega’s Mission: Vega arrives at a fancy school in a fast-paced city in Wishworld. Vega tries every after school activity in an attempt to find The Wisher. Soon she finds Ella and learns of her wish to make her lie go away. Vega realizes that she and Ella have a lot in common and Vega helps Ella embrace and appreciate her unique talent. With Vega’s help, Ella is happier, more popular and more authentic than ever before.
#5 – Scarlet Discovers True Strength
Scarlet is overly intense and can be manipulative and vengeful. She needs to relax, learn how to encourage others instead of manipulating them, while staying true to her passionate, strong-willed personality.
Star Day is approaching, an annual school event where classes are cancelled and there is a big campus party with games, picnics, and music. This year there is going to be a Battle of the Bands competition.
Scarlet’s mission: Scarlet is going to help a disabled girl who wishes that she could feel independent. Scarlet wants to return quickly with the energy and tries to manipulate the girl into feeling good about herself instead of actually helping her realize her strengths. A few Star Darlings arrive to help Scarlet focus on the situation at hand and let the wish happen naturally which will result in much more positive energy.
#8 – Astra’s Mixed-Up Mission
Life on Starland is anything but normal these days. The Star Darlings continue to experience mysterious phenomena while trying to focus on their studies and maintain their cover.
Star athlete Astra is chosen for the next Wish Mission. Her overconfident nature leads her to quick conclusions about her Wisher’s true wish. Can Astra put aside her own interests and assumptions and help Emma before time runs out?
#10 – Adora Finds a Friend
Adora can be aloof and opinionated and she must learn, through her Wishworld mission, to accept help and ideas from others. On this mission, which was originally set for Cassie, Adora is set to help a super sensitive and shy Wisher who must try to make a new best friend because the one she has had since early childhood has moved away.
Adora has to summon her friendliness, and tone down her aloof nature in order to make a connection with this Wisher. Then the unthinkable happens: the girl sees Adora’s Starling appearance. Her Star Accessory immediately stops working and she is stranded on Wishworld. Luckily, her Wisher is kind, compassionate, and open minded and she hides Adora from prying eyes. She and Adora approach other girls with whom she wants to strike up a friendship. The other Star Darlings come rescue Adora. However, they must erase the Wisher’s memory before they go, which saddens Adora, who genuinely became her friend.
