More than a century later, the vampire hunter with his chosen vampire allies protect Chicago from rogue vampires killing for blood. When new vampire hunters show up with new skills they have never seen, Nick has to figure out how to protect his friends and find out the motivations of this new threat.
Nests of vampires are being attacked as well, leading him to wonder what other threat has come trying to destroy the vampires of the city. If the new threats aren’t careful, they could reveal the creatures of the night to the world, something Nick and his pet vampires are pretty sure could lead to a war that no one will win.
As if he doesn’t have enough to worry about, he has werewolves for house guests and a vampire girlfriend. Life just keeps getting more complicated.
