Overview: Mike Campbell is living his dream. He’s been promoted to detective in the Lancaster, PA Police Bureau. His partner is a 25 year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department who recently arrived in Lancaster. On this first case together, an apparent home invasion/attack, Mike’s dream starts to go bad. The victim i one of his high school classmaates, Sandy Powers. Her high school sweetheart Dave Flanders, now her husband, admits to attacking her.
While she’s in the hospital, Sandy decides to divorce Dave and move in with her parents while she recuperates. Mike volunteers to accompany her to Dave’s house to pick up her belongings. His dream becomes a full blown nightmare when he finds Sandy’s husband dead in the basement. The ensuring investigation takes several twists and turns and is going nowhere when another body is found.
As the investigation expands, Mike tries to stay focused because he realizes his feelings for Sandy are becoming more than friendship. The body count rises and more police departments become involved as Mike struggles to identify how the killer is targeting his victims. Can he and his partnet stop this madman before he kills again?
