Only thing is, I don’t think this witch is half as bad as Baal is making out. Which means I might end up helping her instead, in the process risking eternal punishment for both myself and Leona. Then I would have to go up against one of the most powerful demons in the Underworld. Which, you know, would just be totally insane.
But then insanity is a speciality of mine, and if I want to save everyone, I might need to go deeper into the darkness than I’ve ever gone before.
#3 – Blood Cult
Knowledge can be dangerous in the wrong hands…
Tell that to the crazy cult who have managed to get their hands on the most dangerous book ever written. A book called the Dark Codex. A book so dangerous it’s not even supposed to exist.
But it does, and the Scientists of the Arcane have it. Their goal: use the knowledge in the book to dismantle society, out the supernatural underground and put magick in the hands of ordinary people. Cause total anarchy, in other words.
As my life seems to be going down the tubes since my girlfriend has left me, I am more than willing to put life and limb on the line by going undercover to try to dismantle the cult from within, retrieve the Dark Codex and destroy it before the cult disrupts everything in their race toward anarchy and chaos. Which won’t be easy when the cult leader is practically a demigod, and who seems to have his own far more dangerous hidden agenda.
Win or lose, something tells me the world will never be the same again…
