Overview: A successful executive from Chicago finds herself in a place that seems stuck in a time warp, but the people she encounters and eventually befriend show her a different way of living that allows her to realize that her own life is speeding past, and if she wants to enjoy it more she needs to slow down and think about what really matters as well what changes she needs to make when she returns back home.
Kendra Wilson was in a big rush to finish a project for one of her client’s. She completed the project on time, but when she begins her return flight back home she runs into delays that ultimately have her landing in a desolate place that has spotty cell phone service, and an airport that does double duty as a bar. She becomes stranded for a short time, but is able to stay with a family that lives in the country.
Kendra soon realizes that there are two worlds within one: The fast paced, untrusting world she’s used to and the slowed down, comforting one she’s experiencing.
