Overview: I am a native San Diegan, I have lived here most of my life, with the exception of twelve years in the US Army. While in the Army I traveled extensively thoughtout the world and subdequently when I got out I worked for various Defense Contractors and continued my adventures. I have worked in the High Tech field now for almost twenty years, since I got out of the Army and finished College, a Degree in Computer Engineering.

#1 – Soldier Up
August 2014 – President Putin of Russia threatens nuclear war over Ukraine. August 2014 – North Korea threatens to attack the US with nuclear force. October 2014 – Huge Solar Flare erupts largest in 24 years. September 2014 – Massive Solar Flare surges off the sun – NASA All of the above events are true, both China and Russia are reported to have deployable EMP weapons as well as North Korea. No one really knows what would happen in the event one of the EMP weapons is exploded over the United States or if a Solar Flare so large that it hit the planet full force. Of course there are EMP generators which can give us some idea but those tests in many ways have been somewhat inconclusive. Certainly we would lose electricity and many household and industrial items would stop running, researchers strongly feel that anything solid state would cease to run, but what if it was left unplugged and in a shed made out of metal? Farfetched?
#2 – Islamic States of America
The event a signal from Allah, a blessing if you will. It was their chance to set up their own Caliphate within what used to be the United States of America. There was no government, law enforcement or even the powerful US Military to stop them. They would build a nation governed by Islam their interpretation of it and Sharia Law would be the bases. As the Army of Allah moved through the Midwest they murdered, raped and enslaved everyone that chose not to believe in the prophet. These were US citizens who made it through one of the worst events in human history only to go through another and be thrown back even further in time. Their children were taken from them, their teenage sons, fathers and husbands were conscripted into the Army and if they refused to fight their families were killed. During the time the Caliphate was running rapid through the Midwest the US Army at Camp Grayling led by Colonel Rodgers decided it was best to pull in the troops and not venture any further then the front gate. They certainly had the means to protect themselves and the civilian population in the area but Colonel Rodgers had no orders to do so.
#3 – Going Home
It was time to take back the West Coast of the United States! The United States Navy and Marine Corps were finally ready to return home. It had been over a year since the EMP event and not a word had been heard from Southern California or Washington State. Southern California was home to the United States Navy and Marine Corps on the West Coast. Washington State was home to Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force base; it was unusual, at least to the powers that be that these two areas had gone silent. If Central and Northern California had the means to openly communicate then certainly Southern California and Washington State should too, yet it was all quiet. In Southern California and Mexico old rivalries had surfaced; prior to the event Los Angeles had the largest Mexican population outside of Mexico City. Many of them were anti-American and wished for nothing more than the return of the West to Mexico. When the EMP event happened some in Mexico found an opportunity to make that happen. Mexico was able to make do without many of the creature comforts that most in the United States counted on. Much of their military was still intact and could easily operate within the new confines post event. It was time for them to make their move with the help of their Mexican brethren in Los Angeles and the cartels they would redefine the West.
#4 – For the people
The continuing saga of the United States Military after an EMP event which has thrown American society back a hundred years. As Colonel Clayton, General Watkins and the other commanders are making great strides on the West Coast recovery the East Coast is struggling. Civilian leadership in Washington D.C. has been largely intact. President Washington has declared Martial Law and instructed the 3rd Infantry Regiment to take over security of the capital. The Presidents military leaders are lost and divided on what to do, his scientific advisors are clueless and he doesn’t have the manpower within the Capital to secure the surrounding communities from the ravaging gangs and militias moving into the area. What of some of the other military posts on the East Coast such as Quantico, Oceana NAS and Fort Bragg how are they coping? Like in D.C. they’re struggling as well it’s truly a lack of leadership and undefined goals to help themselves and the civilians they are supposed to be helping.
To top it off there is a modern well equipped Army heading south from Massachusetts led by a disgruntled Army officer who is set on conquering the Capital and installing his own government.
#5 – Retribution
President Washington has appointed newly promoted Brigadier General John Clayton as special military advisor to the President of the United States. Brigadier General Clayton’s orders were to stop the Army of the Potomac from marching on the nation’s capital. With the Joint Chief’s in an uproar over the President’s appointment, BG Clayton must marshal what US Forces he can to defeat General Magnus’ Army. He’s being attacked from within the government and from the outside, it’s only his determination and drive that saves what’s left of the union.
