With troops limited due to the impending rebellion, recently appointed guard Jake is sent on a covert mission to meet with the group, infiltrate their operations, and learn their plans. Will he be able to convince the young mercenaries to stop their attack before the assault is launched? Or will he be discovered and ruthlessly eliminated? And what of the destroyed villages, reduced to a sea of shattered rubble and pale corpses by an unknown elemental force?
3. Icarus

So Dante claims upon encountering the lazy citizens of the floating city of Icarus. His statement isn’t unwarranted, within hours of their arrival Jake and company encounter a number of strange things: an unnaturally docile population, a nation brimming with conspiracy, and an oozing wet, black dragon that stalks the entire island. And that isn’t the end of their troubles. The government seems intent on protecting this beast, which slaughters their citizens by the dozens every time it arrives.
