Requirements: ePUB Reader, 594 KB
Overview: Drew Seren was raised on a diet of science fiction, both in print and on the screen. He spent many nights watching Star Trek and Space 1999 with his father. Comic books were a main staple of his reading, and then when he was in high school he started reading Dragon Riders of Pern and quickly began devouring any science fiction he could, luckily his father had an extensive library at the time. He started writing soon after that, letting writing help him make it through class. During college and his corporate life, Drew spent a lot of time writing to help him endure the mundane things that gnawed at him. Through his twenties and thirties, comic books and science fiction helped him survive. To this day, he’s still reading as much or more than he’s writing. He’s also an avid gamer, playing first Dungeons and Dragons, and currently lots of World of Warcraft. He’s recently turned his attention to writing full time and exploring the vast galaxy through new and interesting eyes.
Genre: Sci-Fi

Skylar Mars and the Stolen Egg (#1)
Skylar Mars was a regular teenager growing up on Hummassa, a backwater planet on the far side of the Milky Way Galaxy. When raiders attack his planet, his life is turned upside down. Suddenly orphaned, Skylar is taken across the galaxy to Stars’ End Academy and dropped in the midst of more species than he’d ever encountered before. He starts making friends quickly, first with his roommate Del, a Tursiops boy from an aquatic world, then with Solaria, a cat-like Panterian. With the blossoming ability to feel the other people’s emotions and occasionally hear their thoughts, Skylar fights to find a place in the universe he never expected to experience. When Solaria rescues a strange egg from another student after a field trip, the three friends find themselves the foster parents of a strange and protected life form. As chaos becomes a larger and larger part of their lives, they decide it’s time to get their new pet back to his home planet. Little do they know the dangers the wait for them on the strange restricted world. Circumstances out of his control might force Skylar to stay on Armstrong’s Ring for the rest of his life. After discovering a galaxy full of possibilities does Skylar want to risk being planet bound?

Skylar Mars and the Mysterious Armada (#3)
A young man and his friends must fight astronomical odds to save their school, and their very lives against a foe they were never trained to fight, or even imaged could exist. After a less-than-relaxing break from school, Skylar and Solaria are headed back to Stars’ End, hoping to find rest in the normalcy of classes. When they emerge from the stargate, a strange armada of ships has the space station blockaded and they can’t get home. With the stargate malfunctioning, they have to find a way to get to the academy and mount a rescue while they hope ships with more fire power than they have come soon. In an effort to find a weakness in the ships that aren’t responding to their hails, Skylar and his friends stumble on a secret the Galactic Council has been hiding for hundreds of years. The strange ships and their origins might be more than Skylar is prepared to deal with, and the Council that rules the galaxy is determined to ignore the truth of their secrets. Can Skylar and his friends find the answer to save Stars’ End, or are the odds stacked too much against them?
