Other Blood (Book #1)
Arab kidnappers, immortal Aztecs, assorted drug-runners, Nazi millionaires, an ancient evil, the Japanese space program, the reality of Genesis 6, and true love. For Special Forces Lieutenant and newly-fledged vampire Megan Collolly, true love is the hard part. The rest is doable.
Farrell Gray, Megan’s college roommate and fellow athlete left the Army when Megan was transferred into the No Collateral Damage units. Immortality, incredible strength, and lightning healing powers cannot compensate Megan for that loss. Admitting love is difficult, but she is running out of alternatives. She and Farrell must be back together.
Her commander, Colonel John Tierney, over a century old, has his own lost love to fine, and he readily sees his Lieutenant’s problem. With his encouragement, love finds a way.
The hard part done, crime must be thwarted, evil vanquished, and half-century-old wrongs righted. Justice will be served.
Tartare, of course.
Blood’s A Rover (#2)
After an internecine battle in which several of their superiors are killed, Army Captains Megan Connolly and Farrell Grey are in trouble again. Sent by the Pentagon to Baha, a small state in the Sarawat Mountains of Saudi Arabia, they are to act as cultural representatives only, and are under strict orders to behave. Safely out of the Continental United States (CONUS), their new superiors can breathe a sigh of relief. After all, in such a bucolic setting, what could go wrong?
Quite a lot, as it turns out. Trouble finds them, this time in spades.
Somali terrorists, lured by the promise of infinite power, have joined with Idi Amin — the Butcher of Uganda — to locate the Mandylion, a religious artifact capable of contacting Paradise. Once in their possession, they think, world order will change again. In their favor.
No such luck.
Modern weaponry is no match for the forces of Heaven, two giant Baluchistani pizza-parlor owners, a trio of German veterans of World War II, a determined werewolf, and our heroines, two thirsty young vampires.
The Pentagon will not be pleased.
Again.
Blood Tide (#3)
Spending the entire month of June on Leave with their twin daughters, how much fun can that be? What could go wrong? For Majors Megan Connolly and Farrell Gray, almost anything, as it turns out. Asked for help by the infamous Hawkins pirate family, the situation seems simple enough. Initially, that is.
However, protecting a secret deemed private for hundreds of years by keeping it from the hands of a greedy multinational pharmaceutical company rapidly becomes far more complicated. A plant-derived chemical compound which apparently ramps up the immune system and prevents normal gene degradation has attracted far too many groups of seekers, some well-financed, well-equipped, and violence-prone.
Keeping the twins out of harm’s way may be the toughest part, but the rest isn’t easy.
The plot quickens and thickens.
The pirates — well, they’re pirates, after all — also understand the uses of force, as do our heroines. With the aid of the FBI, the National Guard, two very unusual Deputy Sheriffs, the German KSK Special Forces, and a legendary pilot, threats are nullified as they appear, until only the Sea Foam II, a German pharmacological research vessel, remains, filled with well-armed mercenaries and murderous intent.
Down to the wire on the deep blue.
