Thomas had just started studying medicine under Professor Talbot on a full-year scholarship. Plucked out of his small Yorkshire childhood town, Thomas travels all the way to London to secure a better future for himself and the rest of his family. At first, everything is easy; he makes some friends, has a roof over his head and studies in his free time. That’s when a new course of study is proposed.
During the witching hour, there are some extra lectures to sign up for; lectures on supernatural biology and medicine. It seemed far-fetched at first and Thomas is sure the only reason he even attends is because he paid the tuition through till the New Year. However, with the constant lack of sleep, and a newfound friendship with young aristocrat, Phillip Ridley, Thomas starts taking an interest in the strange events occurring throughout Whitechapel.
Until the Ripper’s first victim appears on their dissection table.
