Shadows Bear No Names by O. Canatan (Oganalp Canatan) (The Blackened Prophecy #1)
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 579 KB
Overview: It was supposed to be a simple job for Ray and his crew. Deliver the fuel tanks to planet Bunari, and he and the crew can look forward to a well-earned break. No part of the contract suggested an intruder assaulting the bridge, causing the ship to crash into the planet’s capital, killing a hundred thousand of its inhabitants. Ray chose this line of work to escape from life’s responsibilities. Now, he is awaiting execution in a dark Bunari prison. As if his problems are not dire enough, a mysterious figure instead of the executioner stands before him in his cold cell, warning Ray of an ancient prophecy that promises the apocalypse if he doesn’t rise to the challenge. All Ray can do is curse at his luck. Ray needs to prove his innocence, not be a part of some mad prophecy. He neither believes it nor is he ready for such an undertaking. None of that matters, for if Ray doesn’t accept his fate, the apparition promises the end of the human race.
