Overview: Scorpio is the eighth astrological sign of the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Scorpius. It measures 210° -240° of ecliptic length. Under the tropical zodiac (most used in western astrology), the Sun transits on average between October 23 and November 22. Under the sidereal zodiac (most commonly used in Hindu astrology), the Sun is in Scorpio from about November 16 to December 15. Depending on the zodiac system used, an individual born under the influence of this sign may be called "scorpion" or "scorpio".
Scorpio is one of the signs of the triplicity of water, along with fish and cancer. This means that the emotional part is very strong, and has a great command of the reasoning and motivations of these natives, who, unlike the other two signs of the same element, have a more explosive temperament, being very well known for their thirst for vengeance in moments of fury.
But those who live with them know that scorpions are often sensitive people, with a great intuition to guide them and feel with ease the energy of an environment or someone. Therefore, they also have a great empathy and when they love, they do it with great intensity, whether in a loving relationship, between friends or family.
