1. Sarah Todd
Back when the trains ran regular, Lawrence was a bustling little town. Back then, the Lawson brothers ran things. Now there’s just Sarah Todd, and she’s up to her armpits in bandits. There aren’t many folk left in Lawrence. There are holdouts growing what little the land will grow, there are prospectors who just won’t say die, and there are bandits who want anything they can get their grubby hands on. When someone makes a huge find, what was a controlled chaos is about to go toes-up.
2. Rising Waters
Jimmy Lawson coming back to Lawrence always stood to mean big changes. Changes that Sarah Todd was bound to fight.
And yet, she finds herself in a purple wedding dress standing at the top of the aisle. Sarah and Jimmy ain’t hardly headed for wedded bliss, though, with vagrants looking for jobs, miners looking for absenta, investors looking for profit, and everyone else looking to shut them down. Jimmy Lawson ain’t the type you get in his way, and with Sarah Todd at his side, they might just survive.
3. Clash of Mountains
Well, the train’s running, sure enough, but Lawrence is dyin’, all the same, and there ain’t much Sarah Todd can do about it, seeing as she’s married to the man that’s doin’ it.
The best absenta ever found is up in the mountains, ripe for the taking, and you might be excused for thinking that Lawrence’s problems are solved by it, but Sarah Todd knows the path from the mountains to the buyers runs right through Lawrence. Now there’s folk up in the mountains shooting at her, same as always, but also folk comin’ in from the coast with the same mind. The ones that’ve got absenta are set to kill anyone in their way, and the ones that ain’t got it are willing to kill anyone keeping them from taking it. At least this time it’s Sarah Todd and Jimmy Lawson standing in the middle. Those are almost bettin’ odds.
