Overview: The Voice of Her Eyes is a 1996 The Sandman short story by British writer Karawynn Long, featuring Delirium of the Endless as the main character.
The story was written for the The Sandman: Book of Dreams prose anthology, but, following a rights dispute with publisher DC Comics, Long self-published it on her website. The other authors who decided to remove ther stories from the anthology were Harlan Ellison, Jane Yolen, Martha Soukup and Charles de Lint, who later published his entry, Shining Nowhere But in the Dark, in his collection Moonlight and Vines with minor modifications.
