Overview: Artists are travelling from all across the world to take part in Sandpiper Island’s annual sandcastle building contest and with the contestants all staying under one roof, rivalry, sabotage and just a splash of romance are bound to happen…
Competitors Peony and Sol are in it to win it, and the contest has come a long way since Victorian times – tipping over a bucket and planting a flag just won’t do anymore.
As the warring entrants are give accommodation in the once-royal manor house of Sandcastle Lodge, London-based up and coming sculptor Peony goes head to head with Sol, an islander who has four generations of victors in his family to defend.
With locals pitting the contestants against each other and a world-famous judge to impress, things only get more complicated as Sol starts to realise he has feelings for Peony.
