Those who do not wish to gamble with their lives and have no good prospects of providing for themselves often allow themselves to be willingly collared as slaves in the capitol, Kismet, to a blessed individual or the royal stable of slaves. Slavery is done by consent and contract and is only permitted within the capitol.
Follow along from the humble beginnings of a remarkably gifted and tragically orphaned Summer Elf named Scarlett Lamb. A stunningly tall and beautiful buxom auburn-haired young woman with five circular white birthmarks on her collarbone that denotes her having five magical blessings from the many her kind can possess. After burying her father and selling the family business, young Scarlett goes searching for her runaway sister to see what her life outside the wetlands may offer for her and her skills. When all seems lost, and her entry into the capital is denied, a chance encounter with a human opens the gates to the city, and a sequence of doors fall open to her like falling dominoes.
