Russia After Stalin by Isaac Deutscher
Requirements: .ePUB Reader | 331 kb
Overview: When, just a few weeks after the dictator’s death, Isaac Deutscher published his Russia After Stalin, it might at first have been thought that the biographer of the deceased statesman had been merely indulging in a journalistic exercise. It is not, indeed, rare, to find people taking advantage of newsworthy events to feed the public with more or less successful essays consisting of an ill-assorted diet of obituary-cum-prognostication. Deutscher’s little book, however, which was written between March 1953 and April 20th of the same year, belongs to an entirely different category.
