3. 3. Stormy Seas – It’s not Halloween but horror is hitting The Bounding Storm … and Rowan Gray couldn’t be more excited.
That’s right, the Indie Horror Movies are being held on the ship and that means the entire guest list is made up of members of the B-movie industry. As a horror buff, Rowan is having trouble containing her enthusiasm. She can’t wait to meet some of her favorites, although the experience might not be all she dreamed about.
From a security perspective, the awards don’t offer up much trouble for Quinn Davenport – other than the expensive camera serving as the grand prize. He’s more interested in keeping Rowan out of trouble than anything else.
When Rowan’s special gift rears its ugly head and one of the biggest actresses falls under a death omen, Quinn and Rowan find themselves in the unenviable position of watching her without tipping their hands. When she goes missing, they expect the worst … and that’s long before death officially comes calling.
Rowan may love horror movies but she doesn’t enjoy fiction intruding on real life. Something big is going on – and it seems all the guests have a secret. Rowan needs to sort through the lies, discover the truth, and find a way to save the day.
That’s if she herself survives, of course, which is no guarantee on a ship full of potential killers.
A storm is coming, and a killer is in their midst. It’s anybody’s guess who will make it to the final credits.
4. Sunken Seas – The Bounding Storm is racing toward adventure … and this time it’s something completely out of the ordinary.
Rowan Gray still can’t wrap her mind around the fact that an old shipwreck – one that could make salvagers rich beyond their wildest dreams – is going to be The Bounding Storm’s main focus for a full week. It’s true, though, and the shift in demeanor on the boat is exciting and worrisome at the same time.
Even Rowan’s boyfriend Quinn isn’t immune and he’s swept up in the grandeur of the event … right until things turn sour and someone attacks one of the divers. It becomes clear rather quickly that something else is going on and someone has nefarious designs on the find.
If that weren’t bad enough, Rowan finds herself at odds with the salvage team leader – a man who she recognizes on a level she can’t quite explain – and her tragic past is about to push to the forefront when the man’s identity becomes known. There’s only one question: Is he friend or foe?
Rowan has to figure it out fast because when things come to a head, she has to decide who is on the side of right and who is trying to commit a terrible wrong. If she doesn’t make the correct decision, someone could die … including her.
It’s all hands on deck for another adventure, and whether everyone will live to make history is anyone’s guess.
5. Choppy Seas – Rowan Gray has a lot on her mind.
Between her uncle dropping a bomb about the father she believed dead actually being alive and a mountain of feuding cheerleaders descending on The Bounding Storm, Rowan can’t quite seem to get a handle on her emotions.
She has a job to do and opts to focus on that rather than her missing uncle – which is the professional thing, of course – but her mind is a busy place to visit. When the infamous omen pops up, it seems one of the warring cheer coaches is in trouble. Rowan dedicates herself to finding who might have murder on the mind but distraction is around every corner.
Things only get weirder when one of the girls from a rival team goes missing and the symbol on the first photograph changes to something Rowan doesn’t recognize. Her boyfriend, Quinn Davenport, suggests Rowan’s powers are growing but that’s the last thing she wants to grapple with. Her focus is on an at-risk girl who no one can seem to find.
Things are about to get loud, mean and nasty … and the danger is closer than anyone realizes. Rowan is ready for a fight but the enemy might just be bigger and badder than she realizes, and when death starts stalking her, it might already be too late.
6. Churning Seas – Rowan Gray is a bundle of nerves.
She’s waiting for word on her father – a man who supposedly died ten years before – and the only thing that can shift her focus is a fraught rescue at sea, one that forces The Bounding Storm to evacuate a group of oil rig workers during a tumultuous storm.
When one of the workers ends up dead – an individual who wasn’t listed on the manifest – Rowan Gray and Quinn Davenport are thrust into a fresh adventure … and it’s one that’s likely to have dire consequences.
Between manipulative businessmen, undercover FBI agents, a mystery that gets more convoluted at every turn, and a member of The Bounding Storm discovering Rowan’s secret, the high seas’ favorite couple is about to face the toughest challenge of their young relationship.
The stakes are high, and Rowan is in the crosshairs of a killer, which forces Quinn to take drastic action to keep her safe.
When trouble comes, it will be in the form of a killer … and not everyone’s fate is secure.
