Overview: Gareth Wood is the author of three books so far, and has no plans to stop writing unless forced to by an apocalypse or an annoying pet. He considers his work so far to be practice for the real work ahead, and hopes to write the definitive work of apocalyptic fiction for the 21st Century. His books so far include RISE and its sequel AGE OF THE DEAD. The third volume of the series is called DEAD INSIDE, and should be released in March of 2014. All three books are set in Canada after a zombie apocalypse, and began in 2004. Gareth is also writing a trilogy that starts with a book called BLACK HORIZON, a science-fiction epic set in the not-quite-distant future. It will be followed by THE LONG DARK and THE SERPENT SUN.

Rise (Book 1)

Age of the Dead (Book 2)
A year and a half has passed since the dead rose, and the citizens of Cold Lake are running out of hope. Food and weapons are nearly impossible to find, and the dead are everywhere. What the team finds in the zombie-haunted mountains will lead them on a desperate adventure through the ice and snow of winter, in search of a possible cure to the mysterious undead contagion.
Dead Inside (Book 3)

Reilly believes that a serial killer lives among the survivors. For salvagers Robyn Cartwright and Amanda Martin, a serial killer is the least they have to worry about. Something is going on with the undead outside the Wall, something that could have deadly repercussions for the Safe Zone, and every living thing within it.
