BOOK 1: Return of the Ancient Gods

A few hundred years after the Berrillian War whispers of a new and existential threat began to be heard. People disappeared without a trace. Planets vanished without leaving a pebble behind. And some one was hiding impossible elements at the scenes of these mysteries. Anti-gold sitting right out in the open where it could not possibly be stable.
For better or worse Jon came to learn that the impending invasion of our universe would be by a species calling themselves the Ancient Gods. This malevolent, destructive, and merciless horde was bent on one thing alone. They wanted to have fun destroying our universe. They’d done it to others and couldn’t wait to get the party started here. One factor, one force of nature stood between the Ancient Gods’s success or their failure. You have to know it was the reluctant Jon Ryan.
But could he pull another miracle out of his hat? Could he triumph over the unbeaten Ancient Gods? If Las Vegas still existed no one there would touch Jon’s odds.
Jon assembles his old crew, Toño, Sapale, Al, and his ship’s AI Stingray. But they have little time to learn about their enemy and less chance of victory that ever before. After all they were facing god this time out. But, if there was an unwinnable fight anywhere Jon Ryan would rather be at the center of it than waiting to hear how badly it went. Yeah, #fighterpilot. You gotta love those jet jockeys.

BOOK 2: Rage of the Ancient Gods

The more contact Jon Ryan has with the ancient gods the more he loses all hope. Every contact with the Cleinoids in out universe ends in complete destruction. And Jon’s assault team in the Cleinoid universe is constantly half a step ahead of absolute disaster. From hopeless captivity to slowly gaining a foothold in the ancient gods’s world, it takes every bit of Jon’s experience, trickery, and spunk to survive.
Even when Jon convinces so Cleinoids he is one of them, failure resulting in an horrific death is never more than a heartbeat away. And Jon is haunted with the knowledge that no matter how successful he is in the land of the gods, the devastation in his home universe will be impossible to disrupt. But the absence of hope never stopped a fighter pilot before. It won’t even slow Jon’s efforts. And woe betide any god of supernatural force in his way.
In the near term Jon must disable the ancient gods’s transportation vortex. There are already more then enough hateful agents of death in our universe, but Jon will see to it no more join the party. But what happens to a man who dashes the hopes of millions of cruel and vengeful gods? If Jon’s very luck in his efforts to foil their travel plans, he’s about to find out. Spoiler alert: It ain’t pretty.

BOOK 3: Torment of the Ancient Gods

In Jon Ryan’s life, two billion years down his time stream, he’s see many an odd thing. But mixing in the bizarro world of the Ancient Gods has burdened him to the brink with the crazy, the inexplicable, and the just plain wrong. But he remains true to his mission. He must stop the Cleinoid threat to his universe. An impossible appearing task to be certain.
Then Jon suffers an undeniably awkward setback. He is killed. Gáwar, the uber-powerful god of demons, smashes Jon to bits and then eats the little pieces. Bad day for Jon Ryan. Bad day for all our hopes. His friends struggle to go on, to defeat the Ancient Gods, but what seemed impossible before is now not even an acceptable pipe dream.
Despirate to find a capable team, Sapale reunites with Mirraya/Slapgren, the Deft master-witch. Along with Daleria and Tono, they undertake the dangerous and problematic task of locating the alternate timeline Jon Ryan, EJ. They suspect he is able to kill the Cleinoid gods and are anxious to learn his secrets. But EJ is as challenging to deal with as always. Any help he might supply always comes at a price that is difficult to justify.

BOOK 4: Wrath of the Ancient Gods

Only Jon Ryan could make such a mess out of the afterlife. Almost a year into his battle against the Ancient Gods, Jon Ryan has little to show for his herculean efforts. The angry gods are surging viciously in our universe. No society can even slow their onslaught. In the Cleinoid universe, they’ve been stopped for reinforcing their brilliantly successful war in our home, but only just.
Jon and his crew must attack the single most powerful and evil force in the realm of the Ancient Gods.
The odds are astronomically against Jon. His enemies have never tasted defeat. His only advantage is the inconstant loyalty of a once-evil monster Cleinoid corrupted by Jon. And then, Jon decides to go to hell – literally. He will attempt to free from damnation the architect of Cleinoid evil, the master megalomaniac who might just be able to kill off his kin. But, if you plan is to go to hell and resurrect the worst guy who ever live, aren’t you asking – begging – for disaster? Not if you’re Jon Ryan, #fighterpilot.

Rise of the Ancient Gods: Publisher’s Pack 3 – Contains books five and six of the Rise of the Ancient Gods series.

BOOK 5: Fury of the Ancient Gods

Just when you thought it was safe to go to hell. Jon was successful at forcibly resurrecting the most evil and treacherous Ancient God from hell, Jéfnoss tra-Fundly. Now, in possession of EJ’s powerful android body, the former Cleinoid leader is freed to crush, kill, and destroy in his former kingdom. But, talk about grabbing the tiger by the tail. Can Jon resist, let alone control such an epic force of evil? The Cleinoids themselves were barely able to. Can the benefit possibly justify the risk?
Vorc, the current, ineffective Cleinoid leader, fumbles to maintain a society spiraling out of control. If he were any more inept, he’d do himself and his people in, single-handedly. It’s like the Ancient Gods want to die as a race. Or, is it, perhaps, Fate? Is that primordial force turning its favor to one Jon Ryan? If so, why in the multiverse would Fate do that? Any port in a storm is said to be welcome. Fate, all-powerful and ever capricious, may not be such a safe harbor.
From the mist of confusion, hate, and destruction comes a new force – the historically indomitable Stone Witches. A swarm of Cleinoids unwittingly angers the witches. Will Fate decree that the Stone Witches aid Jon and his crew? Or might they just be the wild card that can end the game for our heroes and their universe? If too many cooks spoil the soup, surely too many uber-powerful gods do, also. If a person wasn’t Jon Ryan, they start sweating – buckets full of big time!

BOOK 6: Fall of the Ancient Gods

It’s all coming to a head. Against ever increasing odds, Jon Ryan and his crew must do what no one has ever done before. Either Jon, along with our entire universe, or the Cleinoid gods, will end. The odds began as bad for our heroes and have only gotten progressively worse. They could use a break – a big one, and soon.
Fate intervenes to link together improbable allies. The most powerful antigod, Verazz, comes to work with Jon. But, is even that firepower enough to stop the wicked ancient gods? And, just as it looks like the day is won for Team Ryan, the Cleinoid monsters receive a life-saving gift – renewed power. That may just tip the balance in their favor and spell the end of times for us.
Does Jon have one miracle up his sleeve left? Is it even possible to defeat a horde of ravaging gods? Well, we’re about to find out.
