The Behemoth became a shield against any future incursions.
Genre: Audiobooks > Fiction
Behemoth, Book 1:
A strange ship has arrived, heading straight toward Earth. As it is not answering hails, the Behemoth heads out to intercept. The operation is interrupted by other visitors from beyond the solar system. Outnumbered the Behemoth must fend off the invaders once again – but this time, the stakes are much higher.
Warfare, Book 2:
Barely recovered from a battle against an alien incursion, the Behemoth waits to see how the alliance wishes to leverage their discovery, the weapon code named Protocol Seven. When two warships arrive from their allies with an offer difficult to refuse, they find themselves leant out to travel outside the solar system to a secret research facility across the galaxy.
But what was promised to be a milk run turns into something completely different. With limited resources and a new commander on board their companion ship, they must stay alive. Combined with a potential threat from within, the odds are stacked high against them. Only their ingenuity and the perseverance of the human spirit may keep them alive.
Raid, Book 3:
Earth has nearly completed a second ship, a sister vessel to the Behemoth. This crowning achievement is hampered by a lack of a necessary element called ulem, mined in deep space in planetoids and asteroids spread throughout Alliance space. The closest such station failed to deliver their goods. A lone security guard managed to deploy a distress call with a simple message: PIRATES HAVE TAKEN THE STATION.
Turning to the Earth military council, the Alliance asks them to send the Behemoth to take back the station. In return, they will provide them with all the ulem they need for two vessels and stay on to complete the construction of the ships. But the Behemoth has just finished a nasty engagement at a research facility and has not even returned home yet.
Chances are good that the pirates are merely there to steal an enormous amount of the expensive mineral, but you never know….
Conflict, Book 4:
Disaster strikes.
The Behemoth, en route home after a successful mission liberating a mining facility from pirates, finds itself drifting in an uncharted sector of space. As the crew comes to, made ill by this jump drive malfunction, they spring into action to restore the ship to operational status so they can get home.
However, they quickly find they are not alone. Surrounded by a native fleet of warships, they are viewed with suspicion as an alien force infringing on another culture’s space. They attempt to communicate but find themselves moving toward a conflict they do not want. The Behemoth may find themselves stuck in the far reaches of space with no hope of getting home.
Pursuit, Book 5:
Earth’s mighty warship, The Behemoth, has been selected to receive the honor of formally joining the alliance. This momentous occasion opens new opportunities for the human race, a chance to help decide the fate of the universal government and participate in galactic affairs. As they prepare for the voyage and ceremony to come, not all are easy aboard the battleship.
Clea An’Tufal, liaison aboard The Behemoth, wakes from a revelatory dream. Her first assignment ended in tragedy, the ship she served on was destroyed in a massive battle. Just before the final shot forced them to evacuate, she discovered a signal, an enemy secret that could change the tide of the war.
Unfortunately, this information was stolen by a head wound, robbing her of all details regarding the mission. Now, it’s come back to her and she believes the information may still be out there in the wreckage of her former berth. The trick is to convince not only her friend and Captain, Gray Atwell, of the importance of finding it but the council as well for if this is a mere obsession with a tragic event, the whole mission could be a dangerous waste of resources…or a revelation able to end the conflict once and for all.
Artifact, Book 6:
Several colonies have been attacked, their populations eradicated and their buildings razed. The culprits belong to an extremist organization, terrorists known only as Orion’s Light. These criminals operate in the same circles as pirates but represent a far more dangerous threat, one of religious zeal and terrifying, military style discipline.
Alliance High Command sends the Behemoth to investigate the attacks, charging them to dispense justice on Orion’s Light and to stop whatever scheme they’re involved in. Armed with the brilliant scientist Durant Vi’Puren, they head out to confront one of the most dangerous adversaries they’ve confronted. For the leader of Orion’s Light may have been one of their own once upon a time and his ambitions could be the domination of all life in the galaxy.
Rebellion, Book 7:
The crew of the Earth ship Behemoth has been busy. Their latest assignment against the Orion’s Light terrorists has given them valuable insight into the workings of this new threat and boosted their already substantial credibility with Alliance High Command. Returning to discover when they might participate in the invasion of their true enemy’s home world, they find themselves brought into the shadowy world of Alliance Intelligence.
Captain Atwell and his ship are directed to the Novalat system where a civil war rages. Their primary mission is to help settle the conflict so their allies can join in the real fight to come, but secondarily, they are looking for signs of an intelligence officer who has failed to send word back to his superiors. Even with the secretive part, the mission seems fairly straightforward until they arrive and find the real hand behind the chaos raging throughout the region.
Extinction, Book 8:
A freak mishap. Behemoth returns from their latest mission only to find themselves tapped again by the Alliance Intelligence Division. A message was received from an unknown part of the galaxy, filtered through dozens of relays before arriving at the home world. An old friend seems to be stranded and needs assistance yet they were unable to convey proper coordinates.
Meanwhile, The Crystal Font finds itself in the middle of nowhere near an alien world emitting a strange, unknown energy field. Stuck with a broken engine and unsure if help is on the way, they’re forced to perform repairs on their own. But as they attempt to rectify their situation, they are attacked by enemy forces.
Racing against time and fighting for survival, The Crystal Font knows they may never make it home but after defying the odds so many times, they refuse to give up. Forced to visit the strange world, they have no idea Behemoth is looking for them or the bizarre information they may uncover on the idyllic landscape of the planet below.
Offensive, Book 9:
The end of war seems within grasp but terrorists threaten to undermine invasion plans. Orion’s Light has been a thorn in the side of the government for some time but intelligence director Siva Wih’Faren has taken it upon herself to finish them off once and for all. She engages The Behemoth and The Crystal Font to launch a daring plan, an attack on the criminal fleet and their secret base.
As they prepare for conflict, special agent Trellan En’Dal infiltrates the Orion’s Light to assassinate their leader, the nefarious Krilan Ar’Vax. As he ingratiates himself to the wicked leader, the Alliance attacks, putting him in a dangerous bind which may lead to him having to make a choice: complete his assignment or escape alive.
Showdown, Book 10:
The decades long conflict comes crashing to a dramatic conclusion as the alliance faces off with their age old enemy to determine the fate of the galaxy. As the massive fleet launches for a final battle, The Behemoth and The Crystal Font are tasked with a dangerous mission to destroy a transmission facility which may well be the deciding factor in the outcome of the attack.
They’ve committed everything, heading into a situation which may well spell their end. Pilots, marines and crewmen alike look toward the moment that will make history regardless if they are victorious. A win means peace for the beleaguered alliance, a chance to heal from the wounds of war while a loss could lead to the destruction of their respective cultures if not civilization as they know it.
