Extinction Cycle: Resistance by D.C. Maxwell
Requirements: ePUB or MOBI Reader, 464 Kb
Overview: At the isolated Edgar Military Academy in the mountains of Colorado, Grace Walker and a small group of cadets fight to survive when the Hemorrhage Virus reaches the campus. Grace and six cadets, ranging in age from fifteen to eighteen, take refuge in the shelter when they’re attacked by the infected. She’s the daughter of a Marine sniper who taught her to protect herself, and she believes the shelter was designed as a bunker for use during a national disaster. What she doesn’t know is who it was built for other than the cadets. Luke and Megan Matthews’ uncle, Dr. Mike Matthews, works at the CDC and is in Chicago when the outbreak begins. He contacts Megan and promises to send someone to rescue them. While they wait for rescue to arrive, Grace, Luke, and the other five cadets decide to rescue the other survivors who are hiding on campus even though it means leaving the safety of the bunker. Surrounded and cut off from the rest of the world they’re unaware that the Variants have nearly annihilated humanity.
