Overview: Taz Gallaher is the author of the Republic of the Living zombie series. After surviving his formative years in the Bronx, he traveled across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, picking up useful and highly-compensated skills like: how to find an all-night diner in a foreign city, how to cook paella without a stove, and how to ride a longboard in super-mushy waves. Along the way, he was active in a variety of political and social movements. He now lives and writes on the West Coast. He’s been hooked on zombies since age twelve, when he caught a midnight rerun of Romero’s Night of the Living Dead on a long-gone UHF channel. His current goal is to keep writing the Great American Zombie Epic.
