Upon discovering an ancient artifact, archaeologist hires disgraced Vigilant, Jack Finder, to assist her in finding the seven fragments of the legendary Apocryph Queens’ Scepter. In order to accomplish this the pair must brave alien wolds, evade roving pirates, and understand enigmatic clues left by a long dead race, all while civilized space mysteriously crumbles around them.
